Frequently Asked Questions

Q?

How can I see apartments?

A.

Click on APPLICATION and complete it. Email it back to us. We will call you and Set
up a time for you to come to the office for viewings. Usually within 24 hours,
you will be able to see well maintained apartments and choose your next home.

Q?

Is a security deposit required?

A.

Yes. The deposit is usually one month's rent. Occasionally, a greater deposit, or a co-signor, may be
required, if an applicant has an insufficient history. A deposit is kept for the purpose of paying any
unpaid costs such as unpaid rent, damages or cleaning costs. Otherwise, the deposit is returned to
the renter within 30 days after completing the terms of the lease. The Iowa Landlord Tenant Law is
followed.

Q?

Are there any apartment rules?

A.

Yes. The rules are described in the lease and follow the rules of residency found
also in Iowa Code 562 A of the Iowa Landlord Tenant Law. Typically, pets are
not allowed but some waivers may be available for licensed and fixed, declawed cats. Dogs
are not allowed except under certain very specific conditions. A pet agreement is filled out
describing the terms of bringing in a pet and the costs.
Smoking is not allowed inside any of the apartments but is allowed outside of the building.
Residents are encouraged to buy renters insurance to cover their own possessions.
